Alderwood is a 70 bed Nursing Home/Residential Care Facility. Our building has 6 separate home areas: five home areas for Nursing Home (11 or 12 beds) and one home area for Residential Care (11 beds). All are private rooms with private bathrooms.
Alderwood has a strong history of providing excellent care to our residents, in a beautiful facility, that we are very proud of. We strive to provide a positive environment for both our residents, and our dedicated staff, and we are looking to add more Registered Nurses to our team.
Alderwood is committed to maintaining the quality of life of our residents through meeting their essential needs – mental, physical, spiritual, emotional, and social. This is accomplished by our team of competent, caring staff interacting respectfully with residents in a safe, comfortable, home-life environment.
The RN must demonstrate accountability, resident-focus, and work in collaboration with all other Alderwood Team members. Shifts are 8 and 12 hours, 24/7, with full-time hours available.
Requirements:
Registration with NSCN
Current CPR and First Aid Certification
Experience in Geriatric Care an asset
Must be willing to work on a rotating shift basis
Reliably commute or be willing to relocate
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
